SMS Terms & Condition

Eden Youth will use Microsoft Teams SMS-enabled phone numbers for direct, one-to-one communication between Eden Youth staff and individuals who have requested, enrolled in, participated in, or expressed interest in Eden Youth programs, services, events, referrals, resources, or community support.
Each SMS-enabled phone number is assigned to a specific Eden Youth employee/user. Messages are manually initiated and sent by individual Eden Youth staff members through Microsoft Teams. Messages will be used for individualized communication only, such as program follow-up, appointment or meeting coordination, event reminders, resource navigation, service-related questions, intake follow-up, youth and family support communication, and responses to direct inquiries.
This SMS campaign will not be used for marketing blasts, automated messaging, API communication, fundraising solicitations, or bulk promotional campaigns. Message frequency will vary depending on the individual's interaction with Eden Youth, program participation, and communication needs.
Mobile Number Authorized Use
You represent and warrant that you are the current subscriber or authorized user of, and are authorized to consent to receive SMS communications at, the mobile phone number you provide for Eden Youth SMS Communications. You agree to promptly update your account information or otherwise notify Eden Youth if that number changes, is reassigned, or is deactivated. You acknowledge that Eden Youth may continue to send SMS communications to the number on file until such update or notice is received, and Eden Youth is not responsible for messages sent to a number that has been changed, reassigned, or deactivated due to your failure to provide timely notice. Failure to comply with this section constitutes a material breach of these SMS Terms.
SMS Is Not for Emergencies
Our SMS/text messaging service is not intended for emergencies, urgent safety concerns, or crisis situations. Text messages may not be read or answered right away. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911. If you need urgent mental health or crisis support, please call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
SMS Consent Is Optional
Giving consent to receive SMS/text messages is optional. You do not have to agree to receive text messages in order to receive services, support, or assistance from our organization. If you choose not to receive SMS messages, we can still communicate with you through other available methods, such as phone calls, email, in-person communication, or mail, when appropriate.
By choosing to receive SMS messages, you understand that message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP.
